Close to the city center

If you’d like to stay in a hotel in a nicer area of Milan, our suggestion is to look for one close to a Metro stop.

Duomo area

This is the heart of Milan, close to the cathedral, the Galleria, La Scala opera house.

Garibaldi/Brera Area

This is an area with an intense nightlife, close to the Sforza castle and the Brera Gallery.

Cadorna

This is a very elegant area of Milan, close to the Sforza castle, Leonardo’s Last Supper and Sant’Ambrogio Basilica.

This area is not so central, but it is nice and lively and relatively close to the conference venue (by Metro). The new city district with the skyscrapers appearing in the photo of the header of this websbite is near and it is worth a walk. Here, you can also find the Blue Note, a famous jazz club.
